Now getting into it

wasup everybody..I just wanted to know what you guys think..i just ordered my mpc 1000 within the next couple weeks i will get my mac,and triton..now the software is what im stuck on someone said i need to get protools..but i was looking it up and wondering if there where any cheaper programs but do basically the same as protools i can look into for jus getting started??..let me kno wasup

fl studio. go for the producers edition and all of the features are unlocked. the only thing you wont have access to is the vstis. but you dont necissarly need those since you are getting a hw synth. plus there are tons of good free vstis out there.

what about adobe audition...? yall have any info on that an how it will work with the mpc

It really depends on what you want to do with the sw, do you need a sequencer to complement the mpc while making music or do you need sth to record your work from the mpc? Do you want to record the mpc´s outs seperately and mix the tracks in an audio sequencer to have more eqs and other fxs or is stereo enough?

Fl is a good piece of software, worked with it for a long time, now i prefer working with ableton live because it does all the things the mpc cant and i can track out to live too.

Adobe Audiotion is for recording and editing audio afaik, consider what you want to do, get the demo versions and try to see what suits you best.
