hey everyone, i was wondering how the dude in this video did the scratching on this beat with the akai mpd 24.

he makes it sound like hes using a turntable and just switching a slider up and down, hes using fruity loops on this beat with his mpd.

is he using it with somehting like serato scratch live? would that work? or does fl studio have a "scratch" button he assigned his slider to?

could i do this with my mpc 500? or with my daw? i use acid pro 5.

any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

heres the link its like a 5 minute video

Let me just guess...assign Pitch to the fader and just retrigger the sample with the pad.
