boosting the decay up for the sample to stay even in volume

this might be a stupid question to ask but how many of you guys boost the decay up and how many of you dont so the sample stays even in volume or does it depend

can i get a answer please great mpc users

instead of decay i meant the release and what i want to accomplish is when you have a loop i notice sometimes at the end of the loop the volume drops a bit i dont know if its the sample or its my mpc so i was wondering if you guys go in the edit mode where u have all the filter stuff and boost the release to fix that problem
