USB vs. MIDI

Whatup guys,

I'm getting an MPD24 and an M-Audio 49e Keyboard controller. Should I plan on using USB with these or MIDI? Is MIDI or USB better?
What kind of cables should I buy, both USB and MIDI?
I'm gonna get an MBox 2 soon for my MIDI interface.

it will work great either way. usb is plug and play which can make things very easy

The MPD24 comes with a (VERY SHORT) usb cable unless you are buying it second hand and they did not include a USB cable with it. If you are getting these controlers new then they should already come with the USB cables etc... Are u getting them new?

Yea I just ordered both of 'em and got some longer USB cables to go with cause I would be screwed with only 1 foot.
