greetings cats.. I'ma make this short and simple..
I tried the pitch shift and the time stretch on my mpc and audacity i even went to a school computer that had acid 2.0 or some such ish.. and NONE of them joints do the job..
I tried Recycle 2.1 after hearin some ish bout it.. and PI YOW IT got the job done.. i.e. got my sample how i desired it... THE ONLY Problem wit it is this. its a 4 bar sample the tempo is at 77.651..
I pitch shifted it up by 3.0 and it NOW sound how i want it to sound.. but its to slow for what i want to do wit.. so i time stretch to 90 BPM.. and now its mad gully how i want it.. PERFECT... except NOW in recycle right before it loops it like stutters.. almost like an echo effect at the end of the loop before it loops back to the beginning..
is this a side effect in recycle, or it something i'm doing wrong or can switch off?
doing the above process in the mpc and audacity and acid.. it somehow b*cks up the loop where NOW i can tell where it loops and it would be noticable to the listener.. doing it IN Recycle got it how i want it except for that last echo/ghost effect at the end of before it loops back..
can anyone clarify this for me?
peace and be eazy
