I CAN´T GET FANTOM S sounds into MPC. Help!

I CAN´T GET FANTOM S sounds into MPC. Help!

Hi everyone:

This is my basic MIDI set up:

MPC to ROLAND FANTOM S:
MIDI IN to Roland´s MIDI OUT
Roland´s MIDI IN to MPC´s MIDI OUT
STEREO OUTS to FANTOM´S Audio Inpu ( since I still can have a console)

MPC SETTINGS:

MPC ACTIVE TRACK: ALL
SOFT THRU: OFF

TRACK 1 : DRUM,etc....An audio sequence that I´ve created previoulsy in the MPC.

TRACK 2: MIDI;PGM: OFF;MIDI: 1A

ROLAND FANTOM S settings :
Roland´s LOCAL CONTROL : OFF
Performance mode
MIDI slave

Like this, I can´t get sounds into the MPC.

BUT If I set Fantom´s LOCAL CONTROL ON, I can record fantom MIDI tracks into the MPC in a NEW TRACK ( using the MPC and the FANTOM pads to record ).I can listen to the MIDI TRACK that I recorded through the FANTOM´s HEADPHONES. But I can´t listen the audio track 1 from the MPC in Roland´s headphones.I want to listen them altogether!

How can I get FANTOM´s sounds into the MPC and record MIDI notes????
I´ve followed all the tutorials and I still don´t get it.I know....I´m stuck like a dumb chump mf..but I want to learn...

U are going to need a mixer to hear both of them. But follow my guideline below and add me as a friend on myspace and check my blogs out. Great info there.

Connecting a Keyboard to the MPC:

Keyboard Settings:
MIDI OUT to MPC MIDI IN
Local Control OFF
Make sure its in Multi-Mode
Route Audio Outs(headphone out if stereo out isnt available) to your Mixer

MPC Settings:
MIDI OUT to Keyboard MIDI IN
Turn DRUM to MIDI 1A or 1B(most likely 1A)
Route Audio OUTS(stereo outs or headphone out) to your mixer

Cables Required: MIDI(2) and Audio Cables(depends on how many outs the gear has)

Example:
Say you have a bass on the keyboard and it is on Channel 2(track 2 for some keyboards with onboard sequencers)

Then the MPC should be set to MIDI:2A

So basically whatever the sound in the keyboard is the number should be the same on the MPC.

Channel 1 or Track 1=MIDI 1A
Channel 2 or Track 2=MIDI 2A

ect....

Real simple and easy.
