i just bought an mpc, and i don't know which cables i need.

hey, i just bough an mpc2000xl and i wonder how i should connect it.all i want is,to connect it to my turntable,my computer, and my speakers.the problem is ,i dont know which cables i need, and how to get them,cause i guess you need pretty old ones for an mpc...which cables do i need?

umm how about you look at it...its not that hard to figure out...i dont even have one yet and know what kind of cables i need...thats basic..even the manual prolly doesn't say it cuz its like common sense

"Philly" don't worry man, some people just don't like to help a brother out and need to understand that its called the "Getting started" forum for beginners. anyways I know that you need some cables called "1/4" connections.

There is also other posts that I didn't have time finding but if you search on this site for a minute, there are some people who posted pictures of how you connect the mpc to computer, mixer, midi, etc. My mpc 2000xl is being shipped to me right now and I heard you could easily find the cables at a local guitar center or a some audio site online. Check for mpc accessories on google. and check out some forums in futureproducers.com you'll be able to find what your looking for.

for your pc its dual 1\4" mono to 1\8" stereo. and the lp is gonna need a preamp or mixer. and that will prob be 1\4" to rca. you can run the speakers out of your pc with 1\8 stereo to what ever your speakers are.
