Noob has question about autoloading

I am a total noob so please dont flame me.

I have a mpc1000, and i have lots of samples and drums and what not loaded on the memory card. is there a way to configure autoload to load off the card when powered on?

Meaning that if I load a bunch of samples and assign them to the pads, everytime I power off, its lost and I have to re do them when I power on.

Any help is appreciated.
