whats the best way to sample something off of itunes

i wanna know how to sample something from itunes on my mpc,,, my set up consists of an imac, mbox2,mpc 1000, record player, dj mixer and a small line mixer,, what would be the easiest way to do this?

Convert to a wav., drag it to your desktop, drag it to your mpc through usb. If you want you can use another program to extract a portion of the song so you won't have to edit a whole song in the mpc.

**** all that conversion shit.....plug a 1/8 inch jack into the headphone slot of ur computer.....that has those audio jacks on the other end (the yellow and white joints u would plug into ur dvd player) go to guitar center and cop these pieces for like 4dollars that convert those into 1/4 inch jacks...plug it into the record in jacks on the back of the mpc. now u can sample pretty much anything...shit u can sample radio if they have a headphone slot.

why not?? i'll sample off itunes....a cd....dvd...the radio....a record...myself...why limit urself?

ive sampled off of mp3 before converted it with itunes to .wav but they were bands that probably most people on this forums never heard (indie rock and mid 90's emo sh*t) but they had a few good breaks, although i wont sample from the genre of music that im trying to create. i say never limit yourself but do put certain restrictions on things
ex: if you trying to create a hip-hip rap whatever track then dont go and sample a hiphop song, try to recreate it yourself or looking in a genre totally opposite

i say dont even place that limit.........that swizz beats "money in the bank" song is sampled off an old school hip hop song
