Setup: Mpc 1000 (128 mb flashcard), Macbook g4, cd version of platnium essentials volume 2 by bigfish (sounds & samples). I'm new to production, and this is my first time attemping to load sounds.
When i drag my sounds over from the desktop to the mpc icon the sound load as explained in " Beat Making on the MPC"...."No Problem".....The issue occurs when I open the load screen on my MPC and attempt to load the sounds. The screen reads " Wrong File!!"....when i press the window button to go into the file to just preview the sound by pressing play the sound newly loaded never play.
The sound avalible on this cd are wav, apple loops, and rex,......I use the wav of course, but I tryied about 7 times getting the same outcome, so i figure it's gotta be someting small that i'm just missing in the steps.... Has this ever happened to anyone else?......What was the problem?
