I've been fooling around with my mpc more lately, and was just wondering if there's a way to set up a sequence like you would a song.

I know I can bring up the track mute window and control all the tracks by pad, which honestly works for me, and what I'll be wanting to do with the MPC. Just wondering if it's possible to set up a sequence with looping tracks like a song.

It will be alot of copying, cutting, pasting and retriggering all in 1 long sequence.

look up song mode in the manual.

Yes, what eastcoast said

You make several sequences; copy the main one to another one where
you remove bass fo example etc.. And when you have all different
sequences that will form part of the entire track you go to song
mode and insert them on their right spot. You can loop sequence X that many times etc..

in song mode you can also convert a song (bunch of sequences with repeats) into a single sequence, i did this to record a rough copy of the song by sampling the MPC itself...works i guess - peace
