Buying an Mpc2000xl

I understand fully maxed out as:
- 32 MB ram
- Zip but preferably card reader
- 8 out board
- fx board

If there isn't a listing telling all the components, ask!

Fully maxed would actually be also a flash rom and SMPTE chip on top of Reck's list. So always confirm what you gonna buy.

ok thank you to both for the list of things to look out for, would it matter what country you buy the mpc from?

I'm in Belgium and bought a uk one...The power chord is detachable so I just use a standard pc one.

I think it can handle also us voltage but I'm not 100% sure...

So I don't think it matters. You can definately buy one from Europe.

mpcstuff.com? ive seen that a few times around this place, they got couple of 2000xl's for around $1000,seem decent enough, where u get urs from in the uk ?

A friend of mine that was living in belgium at the time. He didn't use it and I got it for 500 euro's with just the memory expansion. That machine was in absolute mint condition though. It looked and felt just like new.
