i think i had less trouble decided which MPC i should buy BEFORE i had the money...
im really debating which nis better 1000 vs 2500
just a little background i been making beats for about 6 years now but mostly software (couldn't afford anything but cracked reason at the time) now i use reason 3 with padkontrol but i wanted something dedicated to making beats on.
also to gig with is the largest part. i hated having to take my drum pad controller and my heavy ass PC (thats partly my fault i got a desktop replacement PC...anyway)
for an experienced beat maker, would u chose 1000 or 2500?
and why would u if you chose a certain one.
i have asked these questions before but i have never gotten..or should i say felt that i should get a 2500 over it's advatages. mostly it was things like "better pads etc.) but for me...thats not as important as performance.
also lastly. some people even suggested i should save my money and not get a MPC if i already use software to make beats.
thats understandable if i was never going to use it for gigs or wanting a dedicated hardware to make beats on but considering i didn't,
is there any advantage making music on an MPC vs reason + drum pad controller?
im sure this question has been asked millions of times.

It runs on batteries and you could probably tuck it away in an inside pocket of a jacket or in a hoodie.
