Simple question about changing note/tone on MPC1000

Hi

I'm new to the MPC... English isn't my native language so I might not be able to explain this properly, but:

I have a sample that I've chopped up in 8 pieces which are assigned to the first 8 pads (irrelevant). I want to change the note (or is it called tone?) of that sample... how do I do that??

I've looked in the manual. Couldn't find the answer...

I hope for a quick answer since I'm at the MPC right now...

What OS are you using??

Akai's OS.

TUNE

I'm pretty new to the MPC myself, but I think you can find this function in MODE -> PROGRAM. When you hit your sample, it will change the PROGRAM to that of the current sample. Tone and stuff is located at the right of this screen.
