Hey!!

could anyone give me a quick note on how they export (and what they use) mpc files into such things as wav. please??

im buying new pieces for a comfy little set up and this is the one thing i cannot do.

do i go buy and Mbox to record straight into software or is there and easy way to convert??

help :?

there is no export. read the manual about resampling and recording from the outputs of the machine. daws export, digital recorders export, mpc 1k does not export.

I'm new to this and I don't know if this is the recognised method of doing it but what I do is record the entire song. That process creates a new .wav file. I then upload that .wav file to a computer using the USB connection.

One problem with that though is that it comes out real low-sounding (the recording of the song) so I take it into 'trim' mode and edit it by normalising the recording.

you are on the right track, but the best way to do it is to record each individual track or pad(if thats whats needed) and eq each track seperatly. check you master volume(mode pad 10 i think) and set it to 0. that will make your over all sound louder. learn what mixing means and how to do it. your songs and audience will thank you!!
