Ok guys im new to the MPC1000 but along with the advice ive had from other people and also researching on this sight and watching YOUTUBE vids (as well as the under rated trial and error) ive managed to take in quite alot. But I know im not anywhere near being a good produceryet and I'm afraid I have another wee problem!!!

here goes..

Ive made myself a programme with the samples etc i want....ive then made various sequences (with various tracks within) which will be joined up to make a song.

My problem was that I was saving my sequences and turning off the MPC. When I loaded them up the effects were missing!!!
I then figured it out that you have to save all sequences and songs to ensure that the effects etc are saved. My problem is that I have re-loaded the sequences and all the effects but for some reason when I go back into the mixer...the levels of effects and volume for each sample etc are different from when i saved them..meaning that I have to re-do the levels of the effects etc.....

is this just the way it is or am I missing something obvious ?????

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

JKC.

Use the "Save Entire Memory" setting and overwrite your old project... saves you some headache.
