Loading drums?

Loading drums?

Hey guys
So i took your advice and got an almost brand new 2000xl in the box for $600, so i'm going through the manual to learn the basics and i don't think there are any drums in here. its saying somthing about how i have to load them in with a cd rom drive? i have a cd that says hip hop beats that the guy gave me, but is this normal? am i not hitting the right key to find them? none of the pads make any sounds. very frustrated, any advice would be great.

wow.

the machine has no sounds when you turn it on, that's normal.

the machine is waiting for you to load sounds via any media input you have, that's normal.

the manual will cover the basic functions of the machine, that's normal.

you got a decent deal on your 2kxl, don't give up, don't get frustrated.

It's always hard in the very begining. All it takes is to get your feet wet a little and you're on your way.
