mpc 5000 and cubase

I want to know if you can use cubase to work as a sound module with the mpc sequencer. i have tried with a 1000 and a 2000 and i got them to work as far as controlling the instrument but i cant get the sequencer to work properly. it keeps skiping and slowing down and going off beat. i dont want to sync them together while im making a beat,i just wanna use the mpc sequencer and control my vsts thru the mpc. i load the vsts in cubase. can the 5000 sequencer work properly with this set up or will it act like the 1000 and the 2000 did? I hope you understand what im sayin.help.....

5000 should work with cubase as any other mpc/sequencer...maybe your cubase buffer settings are not setup right.
if you using appregiator type of soundsI think cubase should be in sync with with to match the tempo.
