MPC 4000!!!!! TRYIN TO HOOK UP MACBOOK PRO THAT HAS LOGIC 8

I WANT TO HOOK UP MY MPC4000 TO PLAY THE SOUNDS OFF OF THE MACBOOKPRO WIT LOGIC, I WANT TO PLAY LOGIC SOUNDS ON MY MPC, AND BE ABLE TO PICK SOUNDS OFF OF LOGIC AND USE THEM ON MY MPC4000...DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO HOOK IT UP PROPERLY...AND HEAR IT THROUGH MY MONITORS...MIDI IT, WHAT!!!???LOST
GOT THE MPD24, MIDI KEYBOARD...
JUST LET ME KNO OF ANY SUGGESTIONS...

What are midi cables? Whats an MPC? Some kind of racquet make'n machine? Is that what this worlds commin to? Shaken my house with there scratch''n and thump'n. Bunch ah krazy's!
