MPC500 and Logic 8!? HELP PLEASE!

I got an MPC500 for Christmas and I need help using it since I have never owned one before. I have two questions...

1. How do I set it up with Logic Pro 8?

2. How do I load samples to it?

I'm pretty much old school with my set-up but these answers are based what I've read here.

1. An audio interface like the Mbox will get your beats from the 500 to Logic.

2. To send samples from Logic to MPC500, send it wav. at 16bit at 44khz. Drag and drop.
