yeah beats by dr dre might not be high end enough though for making beats... however for listening to them after those would be the best.

First off the XR20 is a waste of money, its just a drum machine and you can literally download the sounds for free.
As far as headphones, its going to boil down to what you want to spend.

Trust me bro, the sounds arent even all that impressive. These days a drum machine is not the best investment when you have so many other options. A used black 1k would suite you better.

at one point or another none of us could. I started off with a lot of broken, hand me down, garbage can thrift store sh*t. It takes time. This is one of those things where you cant let the price always get in the way because initially everyone pours tons of cash into this and rarely does anyone see a return on it.
