MPC DVD Tutorial for beginners?

I am an MPC4k newbie. I've worked extensively with MIDI for several years including the MPC3000. I recently acquired the 4K and am astonished that no DVD tutorials or online e-schools are available for this great but quite technically difficult product. I have a professional video production company based out of Miami and am flirting with the idea of producing an unnofficial MPC4K tutorial, once my general knowledge gets up to par. I am somewaht of a Techqie, so there would be a general technical background. But basically my approach to the DVD would be "This button does this. You would use this button when you would need to etc..." or "This is how you save a sample, assign it to a program, assign to a multi, this is how you load..."

What does the MPC4k community think of this idea, and would a $49.99 price tag be fair?

I believe the people would like a basic music making process music using the buttons step by step instead.

Example here how to make fuller drums using the filter, here`s how to pan your instruments in the mix using the mixer page and etc.

Trust me I've been selling to the home music production market for a while now - it's a hard market and many people seem to think that the knowledge you are selling should be free - go figure that. Add to that the real threat of software piracy and aggressive competition and it starts to look increasingly like a waste of time and resources.

If you have your own video production company, my advice is avoid the home music production market and concentrate on the markets that are willing to pay $49.99-$100 an hour for your services.

I got some work for you . you can shoot my first video or I can help you put that dvd together ,I know enough about the mpc 4000 .and I'm from miami . o yeah the dvd will sell it will get bootlegged but it will sell . I would of bought one about 6 months ago .

I bought their instructional dvd's for the 2000xl and it was c.r.a.p!!!
It just taught me that I got gaffled out of 50 something bucks for 2 dvd's!

the 4k one is pretty good for the beginning, especially if your kinda new to making music, they make a few beats in front of your eyes

The mpc 4000 that is..
ITs strictly focused on the q-link..

And how to use your mpc to scratch etc...

Using the qlink to create drum shuffles and fills...

Using the qlink to create filter sweeps on time to the beat

Using the Mpc Live -Using the Mpc with v-drums
etc..
Its was fun but making the video was hell...

that was an good video btw ^ saw that a while back helped me out
