You still refuse to turn off your CAPS LOCK so you can't even begin to expect real answers to these simple questions you have been asking.
Questions which have answers readily available on Akai's website or through a simple search.

The simple answer is no and you have to read the manual. You are constantly coming on with these very basic and simple to find answers that in the first few pages of the manual. What`s with the CAPS lock key too?
The 2500 does all the chop shop you want and I think from the questions you been asking that may be the better buy for you if you are unwilling to read the manual. I think the 4k would be a severe challenge for you. Prove me wrong though!!

i do have one that i hardly used, i stay using my asr and want to now use my 4000 and therefore the questions might sound like they do but i do appreciate the replies and no the 4000 isn't over my head (blue haze) but i have a buyer for the machine so im trying to collect my facts under limited time to make a decision keep 4000 or sell and purchase 2500? which ever has a smoother work flow.

Ok download the manual quickly and answer all of dudes answers as quickly as you can. There is no smoother work flow is depends on what you do. If you have no time to read the manual then sell the 4k and get the 2500 and hopeful you have time to read its manual.

Sorry To Hijack This For A Second. But On & Off I'm Reading That As Of OS 2.10 The MPC 1000 Has The Chop Shop Feature Enabled - Is There Any Truth There?
Can It Actually Break It Down Through Transients As Aposed To Merely Equal Regions?
Thanks In Advance.
All The Best,
DTS
