I love the mpc

Fair enough mate. I don't own a Mac and was just going by the Download page and guess comments in the forum by users may be more representative of real situation...

ive been thinking of gettin live also.
if reason was to support vst, reason would own, but it doesn't...

but im running on a old ass mac os x 10.3.9 and all the new stuff runs usually 10.4.3 or higher....

im thinkin of upgrading for sure.

but yeah i need something good for running some vst's. cus now days i use hte mpc as a sequencer.

is cubase better for audio or production or both?

i see live more like for music production. i have the demo. (the one that doesn't save) i just got so im still learning it. i already tried vocals on it, seems ok.
but i would need something that is good for vocals, kinda like a protools or cubase.

Have you seen that new APC40 that ties directly Ableton. Looks pretty tight. There's a demo at my local Guitar Center. So I'm going to check it out. Lot of cash to throw down for both though.
