any new MPC planned ?

People who went to PLASA are mostly saying there was nothing exciting, so no new MPC it seems. Akai fails again.

would you even consider buying a new mpc? I know i wouldnt...look at the mpc5000...full of bugs...crudware

I havent had any bugs on the 5k yet...

Nukai flooded the market with MPC's...at this point im having a hard time just trying to remember the ones that are out already.
Cant imagine another MPC on the market being successful, that is of course they really modify their current designs and really come with the goods!

So when's the next event that Akai could release another MPC?

I'm looking into a 1000 over the next few months but there's no rush for me and I dont really want to jump in right at the end of a cycle. 1000 has been out for like 4 years?

Winter NAMM

How does one get into one of these NAMM events? Do you have too pay an admission or something?
Are they always in the same city? Or different each year?

If they have any sense, they will wait untill they have what I believe will eventually happen anyway.

A NI Maschine type of deal with the MPC and integrated PC software, with the connectivity go with it.

We will see come namn.

i've only had one crash since i had mine, and i've had it from the VERY beginning.
