calling it 'e-digging' or 'v-digging' or anything 'digging' is sort of inappropriate if you ask me - if it's on the internet somebody already 'dug' it and you are just letting google or something else lead you there.
in the real world it's called 'digging' because often times there is actual
dirt involved.
not to mention, a box of records at the bottom of a pile of crap in a storage shed literally needs to be 'dug' out.
if you find an mp3 on a cool blog that some cool dude has already found and deemed cool, then they've already done the work for you. sure you can find some gems, no doubt, but if it got to the internet, you can know somebody else has already done a lot more work to get it on there than you have hitting your keyboard and clicking your mouse til you found it.
