Going from the speed of a DAW to a slooow mpc3000 would end the love really quick. For most people. I think the jjos has fast workflow, I think the OP should consider it.

Guy doesn't even know how to connect basic consumer hifi equipment and he thinks he can run with the 3k.
You're not gonna "vibe" with it. Sounds like pro tools is your thing, go with that and save a lot of money.
