you can 'lock' the note repeat by pressing the 'Main Screen' button when you hold down the 'note repeat' button. OR you can do it in 2 steps, first you record the notes then you record the slider movement (use AFTER).

i actually hold note repeat with my left index and hold the slider in between my left middle finger and thumb. my right hand is free for the pad.


yeah you can lock it too, but say you wanted to shut off full level, you can also mess with the velocity of the synth type sound your making by changing the pressure you hold the pad with.

I think ill probably just download a soft synth and hook my midi keyboard up to it and do it the regular way.. i thought there was an easier way to do it on the MPC lol... oh well **** it...
