I found what you need. You WILL have to toggle between turning your local setting on an off on the psr when you use the mpc to control it. (To turn local on) just hold down the lowest F key while turning on the keyboard. To turn it off, just repower the keyboard again. Going about it this way can be a nightmare. Are you familiar with any type of software sequencer? I'd look into getting my hands on something more entry level like Cubase SE ($100-$150) or anything that'll work for you. A small midi router/hub is also needed. That way you'll have better control over whatever you're trying to accomplish.

I appriciate it bruh. ill try that when i get home. The only software titles i own are FruityLoops 3,4, and 5, i also own reason 3.0. Thats about the base of it.
Ill look into a midi router/hub at GC. thanx again.

What about the midi channels? Or the drum channels, I know if ive got drum 1b (for example) it'll play both. Now if i set it to Midi 1b (fox ex.) Itll only play my synth on channel 1.

Just a stab.

^^^ you must be in song mode to use all 5 tracks on the board
it sounds like your problem is coming from midi settings and board song mode settings ..
this is a very beginning board and shouldnt be difficult to figure out.. if your haveing
trouble with this a more advanced board will
drive you nutso.

I appreciate the help keys. You will be blessed hehe. Im at school right now and ill try it out when i get home. Acually i would think that a more expensive/advanced board like a triton/motif/fantom would be easier to work with than this toy that i currently own. But i aint no expert either.
Thanx again.
