i don't think the 16 levels will respond to multiple midi notes as its just set for one pad.

midi works with numbers between 0-127 (sorry if you already know this) so each pad is a number. so if 16 levels is activated just for one pad, your midi keyboard will trigger that pad at whatever original tune its set at, and the other ones for whatever sample they're set to - corresponding midi notes will trigger corresponding pads, not pitch one pad up or down.

i think - i'm not a hundred percent sure. i found the manual a little bit lacking in explaining all the midi capabilities. MIDI is a secret language you gotta read extensively on and science some shyt out. :wink:

So in the end I get the fealing that having a midi keyboard attached tro an MPC is useless because there's no need for the keys when you already have the pads.I think i'm just gonna get rid of this midi keyboard I bought.
