An other newbie here!! help!

The one in the middle? 1/8 stereo goes to your pc line in correct? The side with the 2 rca's go where? speakers? Any adapter on the rca ends? If so, what kind of adapter? Do the speakers have red/white rca female?

Another thing, I, for YEARS, have what I call a "bag of tricks".

I went to Radio shack one day and bought about $50 worth of adapters, every gold plated audio cable adapter I thought I would ever need. I also bought 2 of every cable I thought was suitable.

Since then only a few of my cables have broken, a fewa adapters missing in iraq somewhere in the dirt. BUT, the point is that I had ANYTHING and EVERYTHING I needed IN that bag.

I suggest MANY people do the same when possible.

Please answer the questions and we can move on.

Ive got everything plugged like said in my pc sound card.. the only thing is that in SOUND control i dont have LINE IN.... some one told me i should update my sound card drivers.. and I just did.. still dont have LINE IN.. everything should be plugged corectly! the problem is probably something else..

Yo I just want to add a last question here.. anyone heres knows them selves well in PC ?? OK well if you do can you tell me what I did wrong... LAMP dog posted some pictures of cables juste before my comment.. I took the middle one.. added 2 RCA females to 1/4 male jacks to plug in my MPC stereo out... and the other end(1/8) I plugged in LINE IN behind my pc.. now.. some people say im suposed to hear something in my pc speakers.. but I dont... The only thing that is weird is that in sound control I dont see LINE IN anywhere... Anyone here understands my problem ?? or what should I do.. jut buy a better external soundcard with better plugs on it or what ??.. many people said that my set up should work but still dont understand what makes it dont...

Ijust want to make my MPC linked with my PC so i can use my pc's sound system and to record some sample FROM my pc...!!

Im doing somthing wrong.. Ive tried many things but still cant make it to work :evil: help

R u in win xp?

start
control panel
sounds, speech, and audio devices
advanced volume control
options
properties
playback

checkmark the line in, it will then show up in your windows mixer.

Also properties again, recording.

checkmark the line in so that it shows up in your windows mixer.
checkmark the line in channel so that it's selected as the channel to record on.

yep win XP.. I did all that!!!!!!! But the thing is.. i dont even have LINE IN in the playback choices.. and I cant add anything cuz the ''other'' is in gray.

I updated me sound card drivers.. and nothing!

I have LINE IN in record tho.. cheked it and everything but when a song is played on my PC my mpc doesnt find the signal..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
