So should i stick the JJ OS into it from the first day?

Apart from that, im sure the 2500 is great, but its out of my reach at the moment :p

Soooo, 4 days left to get my check at work and mpc incoming ;DD

uh yea easy answer why learn on an inferior os when there is a superior os waiting???

Just initially install the free version (3.08) - this fixes the Akai bugs and adds extra features. Learn that and upgrade to the paid version later.

BTW, our award winning MPC1000 ebook covers both the Akai OS and the JJ OS 3.08.... :)

JJOS FTW... I upgraded to it within a week of owning the MPC..... It has been worth every penny.... I had the free version for like 2 months, then I got OS1 and am still using it....... I have the Ebook Tutor mentioned and now they have a book specifically for the JJOS....... If you are serious about this, buying these things would be money well spent.


The Tutorials seem to answer most if not all of the basic questions, and also alot of stuff you may never learn on your own...... The info is an enabler, but you are the creator......... Have fun, and let us know when you post that first joint....
