Bro i think your barking up the wrong tree, by the sounds of it you want a quick fix to making some banging beats. MPC is not the fast option.
Probably go and buy some software and a MIDI controller before you even think about producing things on an MPC.
MPC takes ages to learn.

okay first of all you have wayyyy to many ****'s

but yo dude.. if you cant make beats on FL, which is super easy. i mean the step edit is there for you!! right on your face!

im saying, if you suck on FL, your are still gonna suck with the MPC


and you dont have to have a keyboard.

my friend has FL and when he started out he was using his COMPUTER KEYBOARD!! and he was making banging beats with it. he hated it! he hated using the computer keyboard, but it was all he had. he had no excuse

dude.. get some software.. make some hot beats.. you say you want to "bang on pads", get a mpd16, mpd32. or something.

and you cant make good drums unless you have good sounding drums.

But that's the only thing it does.

An mpc samples, it has a sequencer and of course the pads and sliders for programming.
A rack sampler is only usable when u have sequencer and a controler/keyboard.

my friend was using a FL DEMO!! version 4 or 5 i think on windows 2000.
