This is going to be harder than I imagined.
It takes them 15 mins to find it.
They act like im dumb when I ask what color the back panel is(place where you can stick cables in)
and moving the pad to see if any of the other pads move is about out of the question, they are like "its like a brand new piece man"

Ill be persistent though.

Update: Its hard to even get them to realize what the back panel is

When it comes to hardware, ease of use is essential to creativity.

The ability to put ideas down quickly is essential to a productive workflow.

The MPC user interface is designed with this in mind.

go and check it yourself, you can't expect them to check it properly if they don't understand the question

GC posts are from all around the country, I did manage to have them check it and I found a black mpc black back panel with the updated pads. They have a 14 day return policy that I can use, either ship it back or return it to a local gc with a full refund.
Took me about 10 trys lol

I managed to buy one for 500, I had them check the back panel and the pads, when he wiggled one the others moved, he seemed ignorant of the pad situation so I doubt they lied to me to sell it. It would make more sense saying the other pads wouldn't move. There is a 14 day return policy so if I end up with the old pads ill return it.

awesome man! good luck, hope you love it!

i would reccomend getting the jjos 2xl or at least the free jjos, it will open alot of doors for you that the original akai os wouldent be so easy to do.

chopping samples is much easier, and there is a grid edit mode as well as a bunch of other great features.

the jjos 2xl (i think they just got version 3 out now) is 129 dollars, but tehres also a free version that you could use.

it will definetly help your workflow and make the mpc more like an instrument

by the way, whoever posted that iron man video, that shit was DOPE!
