yea i hav got 2 trs jacks from unbalanced inputs to 2 mix outs of the mpc 1000 but in reaper only records when wavout audio is selected and it sounds really poor quality when i select the asio4all i get no sound just flatline.

hmmm... as these are unbalanced inputs, you shouldn't need to be using sleeved cables. Have you got a normal instrument jack?

see first ive been told to use trs jacks so i use instrument jacks from the unbala inputs to the mix out on the mpc?
