CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT COULD BE??? MAYBE U WILL KNOW???

The right input on my MPC 1000 has no sound when trying to record in stereo mode, or is very soft in mono right mode and cant be turned up! I really want to record in stereo mode with both right and left inputs working fine. Iv tryed everything! WTF is wrong with the Right input???

I normaly use a 3.5mm Stereo Plug to 2 x RCA Plug cable which is connected from my E-MU audio interface to my MPC inputs. I also tryed a doube end RCA plug from the left and right output on my E-MU to the left and right inputs to my MPC. But the damn Right Input just doesnt work properly! Why

Just out of curiosity have you tried a contact cleaner? My motif had problems with one of the line ins a while back. Some contact cleaner cleared it right up. Just a thought.

Just gave that a try. Still not working properly. Thanx for the suggestion tho!

no doubt. All I could suggest is open her up and see if it's a simple fix like cracked solder. Sucks tho.

cables! try switching around the working (L or R) cable with the one that is not working and see if its just a dead cable.
