are there any sounds like for the keyboard built into the mpc500 or do u have to download and import them

If you have to ask questions like this maybe you're not ready to be buying a sampler.

The MPC500 is a sampler and it's for sampling. You get the music from records, etc.
Before you purchase anything i'd learn the basics.
