ASR-10/EPS-16 + ?????

My question is for those who have one of these pieces. How would you rate the build of it? I'm thinking of probably buying an eps16+, but i've heard stories about how the keys/buttons break, the unit overheats, program errors when you start it up one day.. I know their built like a tank, but but how breakable are they? lol or should I say how much wear and tear can they take before they possible break?

As with anything, if you don't take care of it, it won't return the favor. In other words, yes the ASR10 will absorb most bumps & bruises caused by it being akward & heavy. If it's not put into a case, that makes it that much vunerable.

But, as with most keyboard products, if it's not taken care of, it will break or fail in one fashion or another.

I use to work in a Nextel repair center, and I know how some people treat there stuff...it's pathetic.
