help with loading floppy disks into mpc 2000xl

okay, i looked around the forum and didnt find a topic that covered this problem.
i also used the search engine and didnt find it either, so i made this topic.

so, to my issue.
i load my floppy into my mpc 2000xl, i have version 1.14
im inserting 1.44mb disks into it.

so once it's loaded i dont see my sounds in the load window.
i pressed the "open window" key and none of my sounds are there.
im thinking, is the drive broken or something?
please help me on figuring this out.
if you need more info please ask.
i got the mpc without a manual (stupid, i know.)

ok..

their drums sounds, their .wavs, i put the sounds in the disk
by copying all the sounds into the floppy.
and lampdop, your last two questions idk how to answer those. my bad.

Are they 16 bit 44.1 Khz .WAV's?

Are they 16 bit 44.1 Khz .WAV's?

yep, they are 44100 hz, 16 bit.

Does Floppy even show up in the Load Screen?

yeah, it does..
here's a pic after i've loaded it.

then i go to "file" press "open window" button
and it show me the directory, but nothing's in it.

Are your Floppies MPC Formatted or Fat Formatted?

Well if they are MPC Formatted your computer won't recognize them if they are FAT Formatted=PC Formatted then there should be no problems.

oh, well then they were fat formatted cause the pc recognized them.
even after i put the files on the disk i put it in the pc to see if they were there..
and they were.

i cant format them to fat16 or fat like you said?
