When I press rec play I want it to count down along with my software.(the 1k)

And have the sofware record the sound that comes out of my mpc. Like my sample, drums, hats....etc.. and have it be able to play back and loop to me. So i can structure my beat on a DAW.

Idk if thats specific or not. But thats what i want to do. I have An Emu 0202 mpc 1k and computer. And Im getting a keyboaard soon. Hopefully thats specific.

Either you can make the mpc the master, or you can make it the slave. Choose you format.

Now any specifics on your DAW software, you'll have to provide if you don't feel comfortable setting things up.

I personally slave my mpc, while my DAW covers the master sync chores.

Tweakheadz.com als has a basic starters studio setup.

No one will do you homework for you. If you are going to mention all that gear then you need to learn the basics of it
and know what your getting into.

We will help you if you run into real problems, but to understand your gear/softs are on you and you alone.

It is YOUR setup, remember.

The reason you’re not getting help is because your attitude sucks, you come to the boards and tell us not to reply unless we have constructive criticism? Well here is some. Spend more than 5 minutes before getting frustrated and properly research the problem you are having so someone can provide a proper answer. Right now it seems like you’re pointing your finger at something you want and mumbling and that’s only cool if your a child who hasn’t yet learned to speak.

and one more thing Lamp did reply with a key piece of your missing puzzle.

Tweakheadz.com

but you obviously didnt visit the site because you came back b*tchin.....

Yup
Put time into your equipment and software...
It sucks but its a must, put in some work.

Example, when I first got Cubase and my audio/ midi interface it honestly took me about 3 hours to figure all that sh1t out and hook it all up. No joke... Laugh all you want but my beats bang through now. :D

But you have to put effort into learning the lingo before you jump into it or you will end up getting more and more frustrated and attempt to through your gear out the window (like another dude in another post).

You asked a question, not for constructive criticism, duh.

smokey_1_24420 wrote:Other guys tell me to slave or make it a master

What the normal order of things to do is to get hot on yourself and try some things out. You didn't even tell us what you tried and how far you got trying. You didn't give ANY specifics on what you could have done yourself to get things worked out and at what point you failed. We/someone could have easily picked you up and brought along for the ride.

And "I'm" the NERD, think again.

Have you tried anything since ur initial post? (besides going to other sites to see who can carry you along).
I mean like getting into your software and seeing what it can do and what you can get going?
Did you figure out some of the lingo and terms?
