:D

My Mpc2500 already came with a few instruments sounds, but how can I create my own, like bass, piano, strings, guitar, etc into a program and lay it across my keyboard and play them?

Sample one clear note.
Go to program and assign the sample to the desirable number of pads, starting from a1.
Set the pitch for each pad.
Go to the 'note' page in the program screen. Adjust the note assign on this page by putting them in the right order (36c1, 37c#1, 38d1 etc.)
Plug in ur midikeyboard et voila.

Keep in mind the sound and the length of a sample can change drasticly when pitching it up or down to extreme amounts. In that case, use multiple samples (heey :!: maybe I should find an article about multisampling :?: ); sample a g1, make an octave out of it by following the instructions written above. Then sample a g2, etc. etc.

Good luck bro.
