A mixer allows a multitude of inputs to be bused, grouped and routed to and from your audio interface.

Discribe what model mixer & audio interface you're working with.

Well, it depends on what type of I/O config the board has. Like with my 24.8 buss mixer, I can use either direct channel outs, tape or group outs.

In your case, you'd probably use your channel outs & tape return inputs to interface it with your audio interface.
