is there a way to edit a sample without turning the dial because it takes forever, isnt there a way to edit a sample with the Q link sliders or do i need JJOS for that
i have the lastest akai os ?

I don´t know, but isn´t that in the manual?


I hardly remember the Akai OS, but with JJ you can press "tap tempo" to increase the speed of the wheel, i´m pretty sure this works with the Akai OS as well

Yeah you can use the q link sliders to sample edit. Go to trim mode and hold the after button above whichever q-key you're using while sliding. If Im not mistaken sliding Q1 up will control the front end of the sample and sliding Q2 down will control the back end. And yes its in the manual on page 46 under "Other features of Q-Link slider"...
