Well after about 10+ years of Hip Hop DJing, I've mad the leap to start producing. All my new gear is either here or on the way. So now in addition to my turntables and mixer, I have an MPC 1000 with JJOS2 and the memory upgrade, a Alesis Micron, MBOX with ProTools, and my old Roland VS880 VX (digital 8 track workstation). I also got an Maudio Uno for my midi set up, but I'm stuck trying to hook up all my stuff Via Midi. Basically with MIDI I want to sync up everything so when I hit record in ProTools, the playback of my other gear starts. I've tried searching around the web and on here but can't find help. So far i have my VS880's(the VS880 is where I record my scratching etc.) MIDI out to the UNO cord labelled TO MIDI OUT. Any help is appreciated!

Uno midi out to MPC midi in A. Midi out from the MPC to whatever other gear you plan to sync to. You'll have to daisy chain your midi routing because of your midi patch limitations.

But you'll also have to check the routing in the MPC to make sure it's set to send midi sync to it's appropriate output port. This acts in the same manner as having midi thru.
