Crossfade on Akai MPC 1000

I Have and Akai Mpc 1000 and i'd like to know how can i crossfade down a end of a song or sequence and crossfade up the beginning of a song or sequence.

I have a MPC500 but all the samplers in my life never had a fade in/out feature. Usually when I'm recording a beat to my 8track-rec I use the volume knob to fade out the end piece or fade in the intro.

If you have JJ OS, you shouldn't have any problem doing this.

Hey strike that last post I made. On my 500, the feature for fade in/out is called the Decay feature in Program mode. Never used it yet.

If you have JJ OS, you shouldn't have any problem doing this.
