another really basic quetion that i can't seem to find in the manual. can you record/overdub fx changes within a sequence? say i'd like to have a filter tweak at a specific point in a sequence-- does the mpc capture that automation info and save it in place...so the next time i play it back from that location the filter tweak will still be there? or do i have to record the filter tweak while performing it...then bring it back in as a separate audio file?

thanks!

edit*-- talking about the mpc1000 here. actually, this question is applicable to the whole mpc line. i'm deciding on wether or not buy...and which one to buy.

Yes you can, but I have never done it. But just for your info the MPC is tricky with the effects. You can only have two active effects and so changing them requires a little time and effort, but I believe you can automate effects and use the Qlink Slider to do so as well.

I honestly don't use effects on my MPC, so I would like someone else to second this for a definite answer.
