pro tools

i was curious about the way you guys track your beats do you guys use protools or logic what programs do you think is the best i just bought a digi1 set up and iam loving its difenetly better then mixing on the mpc and it easier in when in grid mode to add strings and bass etc to your beat what do you guys perfer

Agreed! Started out with it a few months ago, and surely do not regret it. I have used cubase earlier, but not much. dl it many years ago, never caught my interest. Figure if I pay for something, then I will use it. Reaper someone has mentioned on these boards, as something that is free. Looks nice from what I have seen from it.

I dont have or use either one, but I think Logic has more to offer. IMO

Pro Tools primarily, if im fooling around at the house garage band. I am definately going to get myself back into Cakewalk software. I've always like their stuff. But at the end of the day PT in the front of the line.

protools audio recording and editing is the best. Logic got the sounds/midi/effects going strong
