Hy there, 
I don't konw how the mpc save the different files(sound, sequences, programms, projects). I made new folders right after the folder ROOT and put all such files in these folders, one folder for all programms, one for all sequences, one for all sounds etc). That way I load my programm folder and my sounds folder when I switch on the mpc and later I don't need to worry for example what program I need to load for playing a certain sequence. The problem is now i dont know about the folder hirarchy and how the mpc saves and puts new files into the folders.
I connected the mpc to the computer (usb) an managed it on the computerscreen. I thought I can make it easyer, faster and avoid file duplicates, but I guess I mixed it up. What is the originally file managing system from the mpc? Where does the mpc save new different files? Does every new file goes directly into root?
How do you manage the different files? Do you use folders? What kind of files are in the folders? For example do you have a folder for all programs and all soudfiles used for these programs? How do I have to arange my files and folders that I can work normally. Is it possible that the mpc just has the folder Root and that's it? If yes, how to get all files from the same typ in one block? Please help me I need to organize my stuff, thanks.
