Mixer for MPC 2000xl

What kind of mixer should i use for my mpc 2000xl-- any specific type or brand? thanks for the help

thats such a vague question its not even funny. You gotta look around the thousands of Pro audio retailers sites and at least get some general info.

What i was trying to say was are tehre ones that are preferred --and there are different types of mixers--will all work or not, hopes that helps to clarify

Im sure there are ones that cats prefer however alot of dudes by stuff based on the wrong specs. So here are the important questions. How many inputs are you looking for, how many busses are you looking for, do you want it to have digital outs for a PC. Will it be paired up with a DAW and of course what are you trying to spend.

It will be with a DAW and hooked up to a pc, ill spend whatever, im trying to run my turntable to mpc and both to pc

ok well now we're making progress. Pretty much any mixer will get that accomplished. If you plan on getting more gear I personally advise on at least a 16 track mixer. Now with your DAW I assume you are using an interface. How many inputs does it have? The reason being, if you have an interface with only 4 inputs then a mixer with 4 busses would allow you to route efficiently. If you only have 2 inputs then the options switch up a bit.
