I know this is a forum for MPC-related stuff, but I'll probably get the best response here than anywhere else. I just got the MPK49 from GuitarCenter. This is my first MIDI controller and actually my first piece of any kind of recording/production besides my guitar and guitar pedal. I've been trying to figure out for the last 4 hours but can't seem to figure out how to get ANY sound out of this thing. I've tried it with the ableton live lite software that came with it, the vyzex software it came with, and fruity loops. I'm using windows vista, but I also have a virtual machine running xp professional that it's not working with as well. Anyone have any advice?
